Landgoed Sollewerf is situated in Beekbergen. The current buildings have been built in 1934 as a summer residence, before that it was a simple timber yard. The original plan was for estates to be built on Landgoed Sollewerf, but because of further division into lots, the plan was abolished. An estate must be at least 5 hectares in size, according to law. By joining multiple lands we were able to meet the requirements.
The neglected land has been restored to its former state. The forest has been thinned out and the prunus has been removed. Over 6500 trees have been planted, mainly oak, beech and plum trees. The lanes have been restored and over 1.000 rhododendrons have been planted. A large pond for amphibians has been created where salamanders feel themselves right at home. Over 150 tons of the natural stone Moulons has been processed and used in the restoration of the buildings.
